Get your monkey on! Adventure Out's one-day introduction teaches you climbing and belaying basics at Castle Rock State Park, one of the Bay Area's favorite climbing destinations. Fully certified instructors will show you the ropes, so to speak, including safety measures and basic etiquette out there. They'll bring the harnesses, shoes and gear; you just show up in flexible, comfy clothing, ready to learn. Group size ranges from 2 to 10, so instructor-to-student ratio is always good.
