“It All Began in Chaos,” writes director of UC Santa Cruz's Science Communication Program and science writer Rob Irion, who will discuss his National Geographic feature article of the same name at Bookshop Santa Cruz. Irion has engaged readers for 25 years, and his written for such publications as Smithsonian, Scientific American, and Discover. Join the author as he explains not only the theories that describe our solar system’s evolution, but also the process of writing about them.
Bookshop Santa Cruz is located at the northern end of Pacific Avenue. Admission is free.
