MAH's Coastal Cleanup 1st Friday

Date:

Fri, 09/06/2013 - 17:00

The Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History is dedicating one of its well-loved First Fridays, which always feature free admission and extended hours, to raise awareness about September's Coastal Cleanup Day (Sat 9/21). Ocean-oriented art, live music, and sea-themed activities will abound. You will also be able to register for cleanup day events held at local beaches, creeks, or coastal lagoons. This year is the 40th Anniversary of the California Coastal Act, high tide (ahem) time for us all to get in on the action.

Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History. 705 Front Street, Santa Cruz. 5pm-9pm. Free.

Artwork by Doug Ross. In addition to his work in the MH show, Ross will be showing artist's proof giclees next door at Vino Cruz. Vote for your favorites, and the winners will be screen-printed!
