For this month's Science Sunday, Conservation Medicine Veterinarian Claire Simeone will give a lecture on a new method of tracking diseases found in their patients — seals, sea lions, etc. By creating the Marine Mammal Health Map Project, scientists will be able to track trends in the health of the sea critters we know and love, resulting in a better method of treating them. Learn about this new project and what it means for you.
Free with cost of admission (which is free for Seymour Center Members & UCSC undergrads). Lecture passes available at 12. Door open at 12:30. First-come, first-served.
