A huge part of culture, arguably, is food. It brings the people together, fills their tummies, and fuels their journeys. Come to the Mission to see and taste the different cooking methods used by those who called this land home over 200 years ago. A mixture of Ohlone and Spanish cuisine will be present, including hot rock cooking, tortilla frying on a Comal and baking in the Horno. Lift your forks in the name of history!
Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park. 1pm. Free. Call 831.425.5849 for more information.
