Move Into Nature's Flow

Date:

Sat, 04/12/2014 - 14:00

We are creatures of the earth, but how often are we able to pause and connect deeply with the natural world that underlies the concrete and asphalt all around us? How often do we get the chance to be fully present, with all our senses engaged, among the trees and beneath the sky, with the soft dirt under our feet? The Japanese call it forest-bathing. Nature connection guide Kai Siedenburg and EarthBody practitioner Carolyn Brown call it Moving Into Nature's Flow.

In this three-hour workshop in the Pogonip, the focus is on learning how to move with the land, rather than just through it. Participants are invited to "step into intuitive movement practices that serve as gateways to an intimate and dynamic partnership with redwoods, oaks, meadows, birds, sky." Bring comfortable clothes and an open heart.

Pogonip (Golf Club Drive entrance). 2-5pm. $25. RSVP on the Facebook page or by email: carolynyoga@yahoo.com or kaisiedenburg@gmail.com.
