Never underestimate the healing power of the ocean, Operation Surf certainly doesn't. Bringing severely wounded Iraq and Afghanistan veterans from the hospital to the shoreline for some surf, sun and fun, the weeklong event uses the inspiration of our big blue to demonstrate life's never-ending potential. CrossFit adaptive athletes will learn to surf along side the veterans, serving as life lesson mentors who successfully navigated the challenging path from injury to reinvention.
The blank face rising up, the freeing movement born of wind-raked water, the tumbling whitewater release; there's so much creative beauty in every wave, in every struggle.

The Operation Surf Merchandise Tent will be operating 4/22-4/26 at Cowell's Beach and 4/25-4/26 at Capitola Beach, come support the cause!
