Bay Area history meets natural immersion on this docent-led hike in the Purisima Creek Redwoods preserve. The hike begins on a site of a 19th-century Grabtown metropolis, and then continues 6.5 miles through various ecosystems, from redwood forest to sweeping coastal prairie. Docents Paul Billig and Mary Bernstein will lead and interpret the surroundings of the preserve throughout the hike.
10am-3pm. Reservation required.
