What are you a nerd for? Everyone has an obsession– that sentimental subject that commands your attention and renders you utterly geeked out. Is it astronomy? Water? Documentaries? Musicianship? Whatever your interests, you’re bound to find some new ones at the MAH’s PechaKucha night, where presenters share concise talks on their favorite subjects. Coined from the Japanese term describing the sound of “chit chat,” PechaKucha nights are famous for fast-paced, stimulating talks. This night's theme is titled, "Found in Santa Cruz." Presenters will discuss their interests relating to our city.
PechaKucha Night, Museum of Natural History, 705 Front St. 9/13, 6:30-8pm. Free.
