Pecha Kucha Santa Cruz returns to MAH with its by-now-familiar formula of 6-minute lectures. Presenting tonight under the theme of "Obsession" is UCSC science writing program director Rob Irion on "My Life Among the Planets." Irion, whose article on the origins of the universe ran in National Geographic last summer, was interviewed by past Pecha Kucha presenter Brendan Bane (at the time a Hilltromper intern) in The New Big Bang Theory.
Irion is joined tonight by presenters from many milieus, including digital media artist Isabelle Jennisches, community organizer Jacob Martinez and humorist Sven Davis.
