Point Lobos State Natural Reserve has often been called “The crown jewel of the California State Park System.” Originally known to indigenous people as "Isxhenta," Point Lobos was considered a sacred place to be cherished and nourished. We will do a 6.5-mile hike starting at the Piney Woods picnic area and hiking to Moss Cove and back with stops at Granite Point, Whalers Cove, Sea Lion Cove, Allen Memorial Grove, and other little trails with gorgeous views at their end! We may also see seal pups as late March to early May is when the pups are born. Click here for event details.
