Bite the bullet and participate in the Polar Plunge for a good cause. Each participant must raise at least $125, which directly sponsors one Special Olympics athlete for one year. The Special Olympics offer athletic opportunities to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The registration and fundraising includes a sweatshirt and admittance to the post-plunge celebration. It is encouraged to wear costumes during the plunge to add to the fun. Keep Santa Cruz weird!
