Help Save Our Shores spread the word about keeping our beaches clean! Volunteer to come out to one of the county's main beaches between noon and 4pm and hand out trash and recycling bags to the Fourth of July revelers. Every little bit helps. Last year SOS volunteers handed out 1700 bags, reaching 5600 people. Help SOS organize the effort by preregistering here.
Santa Cruz County beaches. Noon-4pm. Free, but preregistration encouraged.
