Join Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks and Club Tuxpan at the Mission Adobe for lunch with a view. Every Thursday through Aug. 17, Friends hosts a popup picnic at downtown's hidden gem, the Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park. Sit at one of the picnic tables or spread a blanket under the gracious old avocado tree and enjoy a peaceful midweek getaway.
Easiest access from downtown Santa Cruz is via the mosaic-lined stairway leading from Mission Street near the intersection with Center.
