Join Helen Englesburg, Nursery Manager, for the fifth event of the UCSC Arboretum Garden Tour Series. Said to have a magical touch for propagation, Englesburg will guide the tour through the greenhouses, which include propagated plants from different Arboretum collections, such as the Australian and South Africa Gardens. If you've ever been curious about what it takes to raise plants via propagation, this guide will leave you with some answers to inspire you.
After the tour, there will be a chance to join the curator for a picnic, so bring along a lunch.
UCSC Arboretum. 12-1pm. Meet in front of Norrie's Gift Shop. $15. Spaces are limited; purchase tickets here ahead of time. Tours will last between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
