Join Santa Cruz Puma Project Director and UCSC biologist Chris Wilmers in a fascinating presentation about his work with mountain lions in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Sponsored by the Land Trust of Santa Cruz County, this event provides the latest updates on this shy yet powerful cat, including GPS collar tracking methods, the lowdown on puma territory and how roads and houses are cramping the puma's natural style. The last one sold out and was big fun. Wilmers will no doubt discuss the wildlife corridor at Laurel Curve, plans for which cleared a key hurdle several weeks ago when the Land Trust closed the deal on a 10-acre parcel to the east of Highway 17.
