Rail Transit for Santa Cruz County Talk

Join fellow community members at The Benefits and Challenges of Modern Transit on the Country's Rail Corridor, an informative talk . The event is hosted by Coastal Rail Santa Cruz, a group that advocates creating pedestrian and bike pathways, and a passenger rail, along the 32-mile rail corridor purchased by our Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) in 2012.

Jeff Boothe and Bruce Sawhill will give presentations and answer questions about sustainable rail options. Jeff Boothe is the president of Boothe Transit Consulting, which helps bring rail projects across the country to life. Bruce Sawhill is a lecturer at UCSC and a community member.

Event held at Veterans Hall, 846 Front St., Santa Cruz. Monday the 15th, Presidents Day. 6pm-8:30pm.
