The Santa Cruz Mountains Bioregional Council presents the Recovery and Research After the Fire at Big Basin Redwoods State Park.
It’s now been three years since the CZU fire occurred and species recovery has been mixed. Some species are recovering nicely and some species not at all. The recovery status of many species is still unknown. We encourage the use of scientific research in the park, such as those projects featured here, as a way to answer these and other questions.
