Since its beginning in 1963 until its end in December 2011, The Ventana served the purpose of informing Sierra Club members of the local environmental happenings. As the editor of The Ventana for the last 15 years, Debbie Bulger’s voice lives on in the memories of many readers today. Luckily for the rest of us, her written work continues—she will be reading an excerpt from her new book, In The Thrill Of The Night, as well as reminiscing on the life of The Ventana.
