Last time the Coastal Watershed Council and the City of Santa Cruz teamed up to sponsor a day of paddling on the San Lorenzo River, the 50 spaces got snapped up within days. If you missed Round 1, fear not—the San Lorenzo River Paddle Series is here! CWC and the City are planning events Feb. 15 and March 15. It's BYO canoe, kayak, SUP or rowboat (sorry, no innertubes); bring a lifejacket and a whistle and you're golden. Deadline to sign up for today's float is Feb. 12.
