All races are fun, but the really good ones involve a good cause. When the good cause is opening up a rail trail from Santa Cruz to Davenport for runners to enjoy beautiful, undisturbed California coastline, you can sign us up! This race through Wilder Ranch State Park is great for all levels of runners; there's a 12K course and a walk/jog 4K option. Due to the fact that the stretch from SC to Davenport is currently off-limits from public usage, many runners have opted for the other legal option — along Highway 1, a dangerous option that sometimes results in accidents or fatalities. All proceeds from the race are going towards this dreamy coastal rail trail, so if your legs are yearning for new and unique paths to run upon, register today.
