Dr. Jodi McGraw literally wrote the book on the Santa Cruz Sandhills: her Sandhills Conservation and Management Plan informed the Land Trust of Santa Cruz County's efforts to preserve as much of this rare, only-in-Santa Cruz ecosystem as possible. Tonight she shares the natural history and ecology of the sandhills and explains how Land Trust and other organizations are conserving these scattered pockets of unique flora and fauna.
