Along with a beardyman in a red suit, the holiday season brings one of the biggest birding events of the year—the Christmas Bird Count and countdown dinner. This year marks the 60th annual CBC in Santa Cruz, in which the numbers of our beloved avian community are tracked and counted. Email or call count organizer Eric Feuss (ericfeuss@sbcglobal.net or 831-477-0280) to join the citizen science effort.
