The crazy quilt of agrarian skills, fancy-looking chickens and deep-fried Oreos that is the county fair is back! The action kicks off today and runs til Sunday with numerous opportunities for mischief, overeating, G-forces (there's a midway, you know) and nostalgia (Yesterday's Farm is unbelievably cool). Of special interest to us on today's schedule:
Noon: Apple pie baking contest
1pm: Berry pie contest
2pm: Hat contest
4pm: Silva's Draft Horses -- Draft Horse Driving
