Earn the right to wear the shirt by sweating and suffering up and down the demonic road racing courses designed by Santa Cruz Cycling Club. The "Ultra Badass" category is 101 miles long with 10,000 feet of climbing, but there's a "Sweet-Ass" category, too (45 miles, 2900 feet of climbing), plus a couple of classic courses in between. Learn more and register.
Starts and ends at UCSC. 6am. Various courses through coast and redwood areas. Registration $75-$85.
