Why, it seems like only yesterday that MBoSC members were lining up to speak at the Scotts Valley City Council meeting in favor of a pump track at Skypark. And here it is, done already. And not just done, but done right: at 14,000 square feet it's the biggest pump track in Santa Cruz County and comes with not one but two sections: one for noobs, one for hot rods.
Though MBoSC and a handful of awesome pump track sponsors got the $18,000-job done, those rollers and berms don't maintain themselves. That's where the raffle tickets come in. Buy tickets and get a chance to win a Specialized P2 dirt jump bike or a FOX fork donated by Scotts Valley Cycle Sport, and support care and feeding of the pump track at the same time. Purchase tickets beforehand here or go to SVCS to buy them.
Skypark, 361 Kings Village Rd, Scotts Valley. 10am. Free, but your donations are greatly appreciated!
