Kirsten DeNesnera, a PhD student at University of California Santa Cruz Long Marine Laboratory, talks sea star wasting syndrome and ocean conditions at the Santa Cruz Public Library's Downtown Branch. This family friendly discussion is part of series of Citizen Science talks to be held every third Thursday at the Library. The Santa Cruz Children's Museum of Discovering is sponsoring the effort to connect kids, science, and nature.
