Josie Iselin, author of An Ocean Garden: The Secret Life of Seaweed, will show images of local seaweeds and talk about this fascinating life form. Iselin has written seven books combining art and science in a way designed to help readers more deeply appreciate the world around them. Her talk is sponsored by the Santa Cruz County Chapter of the California Native Plant Society.
