It's the most wonderful time of the year — Shark Week. The Discovery Channel's week of devotion to these fearsome and admirable marine creatures draw many to their couches to watch endless hours of educational (yet dramatic and hilarious) programs. Joining the celebration, the Seymour Center is hosting shark science-themed (ahem) exhibits and events all week long.
At the exhibit hall, the "Shark Stations" will dive into numerous topics such as shark senses, reproduction, the infamous shark teeth, and the relation between sharks and their cousins, the skates & rays. Even though the shark tank is there all year, it's extra magical to touch a shark on Shark Week.
