Docents Mel and Bob explore signs of spring in the various plant communities along this trail. Red alder forest, Douglas fir forest and redwood forest will yield wildflowers, mushrooms, newts, slugs and marvels too numerous to count. Bring water, a camera and maybe a snack on this two-hour amble.
Meet at Butano State Park Visitor Center, 1500 Cloverdale Rd, Pescadero. 1pm. Free
