Volunteer naturalist Scott Peden is a wealth of information about the wildflowers of the Santa Cruz Mountains. That's because he walks in a few places once a month and keeps careful notes, a system that has enabled him to learn intimately what's going on where and when. Scott's walks are an amble with plenty of time to discover, identify and discuss (and photograph). Bring water and snacks for this 3-4 hour walk.
