Quail Hollow Ranch is a great place to stargaze, especially for folks without equipment. Join the Santa Cruz Astronomy Club as they share their optical equipment and moon- and star- gazing know-how. Many a night out in the wilds of the Valley, the Milky Way is visible. Bundle up, but don't worry about bringing a rain coat, as rain or clouds cancel the event.
