Learn about the river in a day of presentations and discussions with an emphasis on fisheries and water quality. The day will star local luminaries talking about the city of Santa Cruz's main water source. Santa Cruz resident and California Natural Resources Secretary John Laird will deliver the keynote address, with Fred Keeley of the Open Space Project and Rosemary Menard, water director for the city of Santa Cruz, discussing the health of our watershed. Hosted by the city of Santa Cruz, the County of Santa Cruz Fish and Game Advisor Commission and the Coastal Watershed Council. Bring your own lunch.
