The Summer Gathering of Mountain Men continues celebrating the days of Isaac Graham, the enterprising trapper-turned-lumberman who managed to purchase Rancho Zayante in the mid-1800s and build a sawmill just north of Felton. This two-day affair features crafts, demonstrations of mountain manly skills like metalworking and other activities associated with rugged self-reliance. And there is a barbecue from noon til 3pm each day.
