Apply the necessary survival skills learned in Adventure Out's Introductory Survival Skills class and take them to the next level in the Survival Skills Immersion Overnight class in the Santa Cruz mountains. Throughout this 1.5-day course, students will build their own shelters for the night, create a fire, harvest edible plants and sleep in their handcrafted shelters for the night. If shelters are created correctly, students may not even need a sleeping bag! This is a great way to build competence and confidence in outdoor survival skills.
