UCSC PhD student and seaweed physiologist Sarah Tepler Drobnitch leads this California Native Plant Society field trip to Davenport Landing Beach, where the group will investigate tidepools and the plants and animals that make their home there. Wear sturdy rain boots ("Wellingtons") if you have them; otherwise, grippy shoes that you don't mind getting drenched.
