Since 2012 Velo Femme has been leading friendly women's road rides on a regular basis, and now they're taking the no-drop party to the hills.
This week Velo Femme trades the asphalt and slicks for dirt and knobbies, pedaling into the wild with mountain bike maven and fashionista Alyse Marika (pictured above modeling the kneesock-thrift store riding skirt collection) in the lead. Says Alyse, who you can find behind the counter at Bicycle Trip when she's not out riding, "I am the lone lady in the shop, and as such, I need some company! The guys I work with are great, but let's face it, riding is a different experience for women. The goal is to get more women out riding. Simple as that."
