This strenuous hike starts from square one: sea level. It's 7 miles up to beautiful views of Pigeon Point and coastal valleys. Interpretive Specialist Morgan Dill leads the group up the Clark Connection Trail to the start of Westridge Trail. Make sure to get a good night's rest and bring plenty of water and food to keep your trail energy up: there's hills in them thar hills. Arrive at the Highway 1 gate across from Waddell Beach and walk about a mile to meet at the Ranger Station.
