Wild & Scenic Film Festival

Date:

Sat, 09/13/2014 - 19:00

Enjoy the beauty of wilderness on the big screen! Fifty years ago, in 1964, the Wilderness Act was passed, allowing special places around the nation (such as the Ventana Wilderness) to be preserved as wild ground. The third annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival: Where Activism Gets Inspired will screen films focused on all things wild, which are sure to inspire you to get involved in this rare form of natural beauty. This event is hosted by the Ventana Wilderness Alliance and will feature raffles and guest speakers, including Adam Scott from NBC’s Parks and Recreation.

Tickets are $15 bought in advance and $20 at the door. For $25, you can get a VWA Membership along with 2 advance tickets (what a steal!)
