Wildflower Hike at Big Basin

Date:

Sat, 07/20/2013 - 10:00

“Love is a flower. You’ve got to let it grow,” said John Lennon. Come see where the flowers grow at Big Basin, plus a waterfall! Burning bush, fetid adder’s tongue, and irises all grow within California’s oldest state park. Docent Scott Peden will lead groups along a 4-mile walk on Saturday and a 5-mile walk on Sunday. Bring lunch and water!

Big Basin Redwoods State Park, off Hwy 9, in Boulder Creek, 9 miles down Big Basin Way. Free, but $10 to park.
