There's more to the redwood forest than just big trees, you know. Get to know some of the intriguing wildflowers of the ancient forest on this 4-mile, 3-hour walk at Big Basin. Bring water, lunch and layers. Meet at Big Basin Redwoods State Park Headquarters.
Big Basin, 9 miles up Hwy 236 from Boulder Creek. 10am. Free, but parking is $10.
