During the Judgment of Paris, a 1976 wine-tasting competition, highly qualified French judges gathered to determine the finest of wines. Noses were pointed skyward, spittoons were spat into, and when the dust settled, California won best Chardonnay and red. Wines produced from the Santa Cruz Mountains have since become legendary. Come support the Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Association by participating in their annual silent and live auction fundraiser, Vin de Montagnes, held at Roaring Camp Railroads. Drink some wine.
