Protecting California's Native Plants Heritage Active since 1965, the California Native Plant Society is a statewide non-profit organization of amateurs and professionals with a common interest in California's native plants.

Coastal Watershed Council

Monitoring Watershed Health Since 1995, the Coastal Watershed Council has been on a mission to preserve our coastal watersheds. The CWC's annual Snapshot Day, held the first Saturday in May, mobilizes "citizen-scientists" from all over the Monterey Bay region to gather water samples from each watershed that drains into Monterey Bay.

Ecological Concerns Incorporated

Design-Grow-Build. That’s the mantra of Ecological Concerns, Inc., a local ecological landscape and consulting firm that specializes in habitat restoration through the use of native plant species. From creek restoration and erosion control to invasive plant removal and drought-tolerant landscaping, ECI works on projects big and small to enhance biodiversity.
