The Mighty Mouse of the bird world gets its due when the UCSC Arboretum hosts a two-day fair honoring all things hummingbird. Tours of the arboretum, workshops, and kids' activities are the main attractions here—second to viewings of Anna's hummingbirds (year-round Santa Cruz residents) and visiting Allen's hummingbirds. The normal native flora and fauna will be on display. Participate in the Hummingbird Photography workshop with accomplished wildlife photographer Dan Suzio, or learn how to compost with members of PICA and UCSC's Sustainability Office.

Saturday-Sunday at the Arboretum on High St. 10am-4pm. $10 public. $5 members. Free to UCSC students and children 17 and under.
