The Monterey Bay Birding Festival returns for its 9th year, and brings with it the promise of field trips to pristine sanctuaries, lectures from world-class speakers, and rich encounters with avian life. Care to venture out to sea in search of albatrosses? Are you up to kayak through Elkhorn Slough? The events are diverse and offer lessons to birders of all levels. Workshops are free.
