Sudden Oak Death Blitz Training

Date:

Fri, 04/10/2015 - 18:00

Sudden Oak Death (SOD), a fast-spreading disease marked by creeping yellow and black patches on a tree’s leaves, is endangering California’s tanoak and other oak species. Now, you can volunteer to help save your local oak trees by participating in SOD “Blitz” Training offered at the Arboretum. The SOD Blitz Project strives to teach the public about what causes SOD, and how we can all get together to map out treatable areas.
